A more thorough description of our circuit design experience
University background is our strength for multiple reason
We earned our circuit design and testing experience during Nokia boom-period TEKES projects at the Helsinki University of Techology (TEKES is a Finnish industrial science funding agency). This was later strengthened while working in the Microelectronics Laboratory of the University of Turku. Over a dozen integrated circuit (IC) implementations does not sound relevant to solving your electronics challenges?
Reality disagrees, since each IC project starts from a customer need (specification), includes design with simulations (spice etc.), testing (PCB design, assembly, testing equipment use and software development) and finally reporting. Because this kind of experimental work is costly, the results need to be at an international level. Moreover, quality designs have to be done in a cost-effective way.

We have loads of experience of the following software and measurement tools
List of software packages that we have used professionally is fairly complete for many mixed-mode, RF and DC design needs, with most of Cadence and Mentor Graphics tools included. Also well-used tools by us are PADS, Orcad, DesignSpark, Agilent ADS and Momentum, MicrowaveOffice and many Spice circuit simulator variants (eldo, hspice, spice3f5, LTspice). In addition, analysis and measurement arrangements have required frequent use of Matlab, both Linux and Windows workstations, VEE measurement scripting etc. On the equipment side we have used major test-sets from both Agilent and Rohde&Schwarz, whereas our circuits-to-be-tested have included bare ICs in a Cascade probe station, wire-bonded and plastic packaged electronics prototypes.
